Visit300 Ukrainian Soldiers Attack Russian Positions in Kursk Region; Repelled by Russian Forces, Reserves Sent

Russian Defense Ministry reported that up to 300 Ukrainian soldiers attacked Russian positions on the border in the Kursk region. The attack, which began at 8 a.m., was supported by 11 tanks and 22 armored vehicles. Russian servicemen, along with border cover troops, repelled the attacks. In response, Russia has sent reserve troops to the southern Kursk region to bolster defenses. RIA cites the Russian Defense Ministry stating that the attacks were directed at border units.
