18 Killed, Over 30 Injured in Bus Collision on Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Bangarmau, UP

At least 18 people were killed and 19 others injured in a tragic accident on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao district. The incident occurred early Wednesday morning when a double-decker sleeper bus traveling from Sitamarhi in Bihar to Delhi collided with a milk tanker near the Behtamujawar police station area in the Bangarmau area. According to Unnao District Magistrate Gaurang Rathi, the accident happened around 5:15 AM. The injured have been taken to the CHC hospital in Unnao, with some being transferred to higher-level hospitals for advanced treatment. Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak stated that more than 30 people were injured in the accident. The district administration has issued helpline numbers for affected families. Rescue and relief operations are currently underway, and the local authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
