Visit100-Meter Section of Karola Bridge Collapses into Elbe River in Dresden

A large section of the Karola Bridge in the eastern German city of Dresden collapsed into the Elbe River on Wednesday night. The collapse involved a 100-meter-long section of the bridge, which included pedestrian areas and tram tracks in the old part of the city. Fortunately, no one was injured as the bridge was unoccupied at the time. Rescue services reported that the incident has caused significant disruptions to traffic and led to a failure in the district heating supply across the city.
