Steve Bannon Reports to Danbury Prison to Serve Four-Month Sentence for Contempt of Congress

Steve Bannon, a longtime and influential ally of former President Donald Trump, has reported to a federal prison in Danbury, Conn., to serve a four-month sentence. Bannon was convicted of contempt of Congress for defying a congressional subpoena from the committee investigating the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol. The Bureau of Prisons confirmed that Bannon is now officially in custody.
