President-elect Donald Trump visited SpaceX's Starbase facility in Brownsville, Texas, on Tuesday to witness the sixth test launch of the company's Starship rocket alongside CEO Elon Musk. Prior to the launch, scheduled for 5 p.m. ET, Musk gave Trump a briefing on the mechanics of the Starship. Trump is the first president-elect to witness a Starship launch in person, highlighting a deepening relationship between him and Musk, the world's richest man. SpaceX aims for the Starship, a two-stage fully reusable super heavy-lift vehicle, to eventually transport humans to Mars.
