Sony Music has issued warnings to over 700 AI companies, developers, and music streaming platforms regarding the unauthorized use of its content for training artificial intelligence models. The music giant emphasized that using its artists' songs without explicit permission constitutes copyright infringement. Sony expressed its willingness to discuss licensing agreements but stressed that any use of its data without consent is unacceptable. The company sent letters to these entities, stating they have 'reason to believe' their content has been used improperly.
