This update will allow users to precisely control app features, specific settings, and toggles using voice commands. The revamped Siri will be able to command all features within apps for the first time, adding hundreds of voice-controlled commands to built-in iOS apps, with support for third-party apps coming later. This move is part of Apple's renewed push into AI, aiming to regain ground on competitors like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Apple, trading under $AAPL, is set to unveil these new AI features at its WWDC event in June, though the advanced functionality is not expected to be available until 2025.
