Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced a significant investment of $1.5 billion in the upcoming budget for the restoration of the Everglades and improvements in water quality. During a press conference in West Palm Beach, DeSantis emphasized the importance of preserving natural resources without compromising modern living standards, stating, "We want to enjoy natural resources...but we don't want to waste resources and we don't want to rob future generations."
