The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deported 271,484 immigrants from October 2023 to September 2024, the highest number in a decade, surpassing figures from the Trump administration, according to ICE's annual report. The deportations, which sent individuals to 192 countries, were aided by an increase in deportation flights. This marks the most deportations since 2014 and comes as President Biden's administration draws to a close.
