Sep 15, 2024, 09:07 PM
A man armed with an AK-style rifle pushed the firearm’s muzzle through the perimeter of Donald Trump’s West Palm Beach, Florida golf course on Sunday, prompting the U.S. Secret Service to open fire. The incident occurred while Trump, a Republican presidential candidate, was playing a round of golf. No injuries were reported. The suspect, who was concealed in the bushes near the tree line, fled in a vehicle and was taken into custody during a traffic stop. Trump was on the course a few hundred yards away. A rifle with a scope was found in the bushes.
