VisitSAP to Acquire WalkMe for $1.5 Billion at $14.00/Share, 45% Premium

SAP has announced its acquisition of WalkMe, a digital adoption platform based in Tel Aviv, for $1.5 billion in an all-cash deal. The acquisition price of $14.00 per share represents a 45% premium to WalkMe's closing price on June 4, 2024. SAP's CEO highlighted the deal as a commitment to enhancing support for end users, while WalkMe's CEO described it as a significant milestone for the company. WalkMe, which helps users navigate user interfaces of other software services, had previously raised $300 million ahead of its 2021 IPO.
