WNBA Investigates $100,000 Sponsorship Offers to Las Vegas Aces
Jun 18, 2024, 02:03 PM
The WNBA has hired an outside law firm to investigate sponsorship offers made by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) to the Las Vegas Aces' 12 players. Steve Hill, president and CEO of the LVCVA, will meet with the firm this Tuesday to discuss the matter. The investigation aims to determine whether any league rules were violated when the $100,000 sponsorship offers were made last month. The offers were unveiled by Hill in the Aces' locker room, and the league is closely examining the details of these sponsorships.
