Hezbollah Storing Large Cache of Iranian Weapons and Chemical Explosives at Beirut Airport
Jun 23, 2024, 01:11 PM
Hezbollah is reportedly storing a significant cache of Iranian weapons, including missiles and explosives, at Beirut's main civilian airport, Rafic Hariri International Airport. According to multiple reports and whistleblowers cited by The Telegraph, the arsenal includes Falaq rockets, Fateh-110 missiles, M-600 missiles, Cornet anti-tank missiles, Burkhan ballistic missiles, and 547 missiles. The weapons, which also include chemical explosives, are allegedly stored in the west basement of the airport and were shipped on direct flights from Iran. This development has raised concerns about the airport becoming a potential military target, especially given its proximity to Beirut's city center, just four miles away.
