Model and Actress Dayle Haddon, 76, Dies from Suspected Carbon Monoxide Poisoning at Marc Blucas' Bucks County Home
Dec 28, 2024, 12:16 PM
Dayle Haddon, a 76-year-old model and actress, died from suspected carbon monoxide poisoning at a home in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred at a property owned by her son-in-law, actor Marc Blucas, and his wife, journalist Ryan Haddon. Emergency services were called to the home after Walter J. Blucas, a 76-year-old man, was found unconscious on the first floor of a detached in-law suite. Haddon was discovered deceased in a second-floor bedroom. High levels of carbon monoxide were detected at the scene, leading to the hospitalization of Walter J. Blucas at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital and two medics at Doylestown Hospital for carbon monoxide exposure. A police officer was also treated at the scene. The preliminary investigation suggests that a heating unit malfunction caused the carbon monoxide leak. Haddon was known for her work in films such as 'The World's Greatest Athlete' and 'North Dallas Forty', and was also a UNICEF ambassador and the founder of WomenOne, an organization focused on educational opportunities for girls and women.
