A soldier with Yemen's exiled government opened fire, killing two Saudi troops and wounding another. The attack occurred in Seiyun, which is now under full security lockdown. The Joint Forces Command of the Coalition reported that the attack was carried out by a member of the Yemeni Ministry of Defense. An investigation is underway to determine the reasons and motives behind the attack, and to arrest the perpetrator. Security forces have deployed throughout Seiyun, with checkpoints and searches underway, as the suspect is believed to still be within the city.
