A collision between two crop-dusting planes in Morton, Texas, resulted in the death of one pilot and serious injuries to another. The incident occurred on Friday morning around 8:40 a.m. local time while the planes were spraying a cotton field. The two Air Tractor AT-502s were the only aircraft involved, and both pilots were the sole occupants. The Texas Department of Public Safety confirmed that one pilot was declared dead at the scene, and the other was transported to a hospital in Lubbock with serious injuries. The Federal Aviation Administration and local authorities, including the Texas DPS and the Cochran County Sheriff’s Office, are investigating the cause of the crash.
