GP Disguised as Nurse Admits Poisoning Mother's Partner with Ricin-Laced Fake COVID Jab

A Sunderland-based GP, Dr. Thomas Kwan, has admitted to attempted murder after disguising himself as a nurse and injecting his mother's partner with a fake COVID-19 booster shot laced with ricin. Motivated by a dispute over inheritance, Kwan crafted fake IDs, wore a wig and fake beard, and checked into a hotel under a bogus name to carry out the attack. Initially charged with attempted murder and grievous bodily harm with intent, he changed his plea to guilty on October 7th at Newcastle Crown Court. The victim, who was injected with a flesh-eating chemical, survived the attack.
