1992 Ajmer Rape Scandal: Six Sentenced to Life After 32 Years

A special POCSO court has sentenced six men to life imprisonment for their involvement in the 1992 Ajmer rape scandal, where over 100 girls, aged 11-20, were gang-raped and blackmailed. The accused, including Nafees Chishti and Naseem alias Tarzan, were found guilty of using obscene images to blackmail the victims. The case, which involved students from Ajmer's Mayo School, has been one of the largest blackmail cases in Rajasthan. The verdict comes 32 years after the crimes were committed.
