May 16, 2024, 02:50 AM
An Algerian man, Omar Bin Omran, who disappeared 26 years ago at the age of 17, has been found alive in his neighbor's cellar, just 100 meters from his family's home. Omar vanished in 1998 during the Algerian Civil War on his way to a vocational school, and his family presumed he had been kidnapped or killed. Now aged 45, he was discovered amid haystacks. A 61-year-old suspect is in police custody in connection with the case. The Algerian justice ministry confirmed the discovery, which has shocked the local community.
