The Bihar government has announced ₹7,000 in immediate assistance for families in 11 flood-affected districts, including Nalanda, Bhojpur, and Vaishali. This initiative will benefit 438,529 families as part of the first phase of relief efforts. Social Welfare Minister Madan Sahni highlighted the Chief Minister's efforts in providing assistance to disaster victims, noting improvements in the distribution of essential supplies in Mithilanchal. In total, 45 lakh people have been affected by the floods in two phases, with some residents in Muzaffarpur expressing dissatisfaction with the relief measures.
