Warner Bros.' New Live-Action LOTR Film 'The Hunt for Gollum' Set for 2026

Warner Bros. has announced a new live-action 'Lord of the Rings' film titled 'The Hunt for Gollum,' set for release in 2026. The film will be directed by Andy Serkis, who will also reprise his role as Gollum. Peter Jackson, along with his longtime collaborators Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens, will produce the film. The project is currently in the early stages of script development.
