Elon Musk's artificial intelligence company, xAI, has secured priority delivery for 360 Nvidia GB200 Blackwell AI superchips by offering a premium on its $1.08 billion order. The deal, aimed at expediting delivery by January 2025, was reportedly secured after Musk directly approached Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang. The order will be manufactured by Foxconn, Nvidia's key manufacturing partner.
