25 Feared Dead as School Bus Carrying 44 on Field Trip Catches Fire Near Bangkok

On Tuesday, a school bus carrying approximately 44 students and teachers on a field trip from Uthai Thani caught fire after crashing near Zeer Rangsit in Pathum Thani, on the outskirts of Bangkok, Thailand. According to officials, up to 25 people are feared dead, with 22 pupils and three teachers still unaccounted for. At least 16 people, including 16 children and 3 teachers, managed to escape and have been hospitalized. Rescue efforts are ongoing as authorities investigate the cause of the crash and subsequent fire.
