Ukraine Drone Strikes Ignite Fires at Russian Oil Depots in Rostov for Over 24 Hours
Jun 20, 2024, 02:14 AM
Ukraine has claimed responsibility for a series of drone attacks on Russian oil depots, causing significant fires and damage. The attacks targeted facilities in the Rostov region, Krasnodar Krai, and Tambov region. The fire at the oil depot in Rostov has been raging for more than 24 hours, covering an area of about 3,200 square meters, with around 200 firefighters deployed to control the blaze. Satellite images confirm the extent of the damage. These strikes, which included the use of Neptune missiles, are part of Ukraine's broader strategy to disrupt Russia's energy infrastructure and economy. In response, Russia launched a series of drone and missile attacks on Ukrainian regions, damaging energy infrastructure in Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk, and injuring civilians.
