The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet have confirmed the elimination of Anas Muhammad Saadi Masri, a senior commander in the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ). Masri, who was responsible for the northern Gaza sector's rocket unit, was killed in a drone strike earlier this month. He directed rocket fire towards Israel, including during the October 7 attacks, and oversaw numerous terrorist operations. The operation was conducted with intelligence support from various Israeli defense agencies.
