Palestinian Gunman Attacks Bus in Judea, Injures Nine Settlers
Nov 29, 2024, 11:10 AM
A Palestinian gunman opened fire on an Israeli bus near the Giti Avisar Junction in Judea and Samaria, injuring at least nine settlers, including three in serious condition. The attack occurred near the settlement of Ariel. The assailant, reportedly from a village near Nablus, used an M-16 rifle and was killed at the scene by Israeli soldiers. Initial reports suggested a second gunman, but the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) later confirmed that only one attacker was involved. The IDF is conducting searches in the area following the incident, which has been classified as a terrorist attack.
