Syrian PM Al-Jalali Offers Peaceful Transition as Opposition Enters Damascus

As opposition forces reportedly enter Damascus, al-Jalali emphasized his commitment to a peaceful transition of power and the continuity of government institutions. He stated he would remain at his home in Damascus and would be at the Prime Minister's office on Sunday morning to facilitate the handover to the new government.
