VisitTürkiye Aims for 'Terror-Free' Status in Syria, Supports Reconstruction Post-Baas Regime

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced that Türkiye's story in Syria is just beginning, emphasizing that eliminating terrorism in the country will be a top priority for 2025. Speaking to journalists in Istanbul, Fidan stated that the end is near for the separatist group and its extensions in Syria. He highlighted that Türkiye aims to achieve a 'Terror-Free Türkiye' and reiterated that the country has no territorial ambitions in any other nation. Fidan also mentioned that Türkiye has started supporting the reconstruction efforts in Syria following the fall of the Baas regime, aligning with Türkiye's foreign policy focused on solidarity, prosperity, and peace.
