Brianna Alvelo Arrested for Stabbing Pregnant Woman 14 Times at Riviera Motel Over Tip Dispute

Brianna Alvelo, a 22-year-old pizza delivery driver from Florida, has been arrested and charged with attempted murder, home invasion with a firearm, kidnapping, and aggravated assault after allegedly stabbing a pregnant woman 14 times over a dispute regarding a $2 tip. The incident occurred at the Riviera Motel in Kissimmee, where Alvelo had delivered a pizza from Marco's Pizza earlier in the evening, costing $33.10. After receiving the tip, Alvelo, accompanied by an unidentified man armed with a gun, returned to the motel room and forced their way inside. The victim, who was celebrating a birthday with her boyfriend and 5-year-old daughter, was attacked while trying to protect her child. During the assault, Alvelo broke the daughter's Nintendo Switch and the man brandished a silver revolver. The woman, who discovered she was pregnant during subsequent hospital treatment, suffered multiple stab wounds to her chest, arms, legs, and abdomen. Alvelo is currently held in Osceola County Jail on a $55,000 bail, while the male accomplice remains at large. The Osceola County Sheriff's Office is seeking information from the public to aid in the ongoing investigation. Alvelo finished her shift at Marco's Pizza at 10:20 p.m. that night.
