Body of Pennsylvania Grandmother Elizabeth Pollard Found After 30-Foot-Deep Sinkhole Fall
Dec 6, 2024, 06:35 PM
The body of 64-year-old Elizabeth Pollard, a Pennsylvania grandmother who fell into a 30-foot-deep sinkhole while searching for her missing cat, has been recovered. The incident occurred near a shuttered coal mine, and her remains were found on the fourth day of search efforts. Authorities confirmed that the sinkhole led to an abandoned coal mine. Pollard had been missing since earlier in the week. The recovery was announced by the county coroner and state police.
