At least 41 people were killed and dozens more injured in a devastating fire that broke out early Wednesday morning in a building housing workers in the city of Mangaf, southern Kuwait. The blaze erupted around 6 AM local time, according to Kuwaiti authorities. The building, heavily populated with foreign workers, saw firefighters tackling the blaze, though the cause of the fire remains unclear. Among the deceased were several Indian nationals, with reports indicating that five of them were from Kerala. Indian Ambassador to Kuwait, Adarsh Swaika, visited the site and assured full assistance. Kuwaiti state-run news agencies and the interior ministry confirmed the death toll, which initially reported at least 35 fatalities but later increased to 41. Emergency medical services are actively involved in treating the injured, with over 50 people hospitalized.
