China to Sell $140 Billion in Ultra-Long Bonds, First Batch Starts Friday

Chinese authorities are set to initiate the sale of 1 trillion yuan ($140 billion) in ultra-long special central government bonds, aiming to complete the issuance by the end of November. The sales, which include 300 billion yuan in 20-year bonds, 600 billion yuan in 30-year notes, and 100 billion yuan in 50-year tenors, are planned to start on Friday. This move marks the fourth such issuance in the past 26 years, as China seeks to support its economy.
