Generation Beta Starts in 2025, Projected to Be 16% of Global Population by 2035
Dec 31, 2024, 10:45 AM
Starting January 1, 2025, a new demographic group known as Generation Beta will emerge, encompassing individuals born between 2025 and 2039. This generation follows Generation Alpha, which spans from 2010 to 2024. According to social researcher Mark McCrindle, Generation Beta is expected to grow up in an era marked by significant technological integration, including widespread use of artificial intelligence and autonomous transportation. By 2035, Generation Beta is projected to constitute 16% of the global population, with many of its members likely to live into the 22nd century. The generation will face challenges such as climate change, global population shifts, and rapid urbanization, with sustainability becoming a fundamental expectation rather than a preference.
