A chemical release at the Pemex refinery facility in Deer Park, Texas, has resulted in one death and several injuries. Authorities reported that the incident involved the release of hydrogen sulfide. One individual was transported via Lifeflight for medical treatment. The shelter-in-place order in Pasadena was lifted after Harris County Pollution Control completed air monitoring in the area.
