Paul George, a nine-time All-Star, has signed a four-year, $212 million maximum contract with the Philadelphia 76ers. The deal includes a player option and was agreed upon after George and his agent, Aaron Mintz of CAA, met with Sixers officials including owner Josh Harris, Daryl Morey, Elton Brand, and legend Julius Erving in Los Angeles. George will join Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey in Philadelphia in pursuit of an NBA title. The contract breakdown is as follows: $49.2 million in 2024/25, $51.7 million in 2025/26, $54.1 million in 2026/27, and $56.6 million in 2027/28. ESPN first reported the news.
