Patagonia Under Scrutiny for Allegedly Funding Group Linked to Palestinian Terrorism; Launches Internal Review
Jun 11, 2024, 11:54 AM
Patagonia, the outdoor apparel brand, has come under scrutiny for allegedly funding a group linked to Palestinian terrorism. According to tax records, Patagonia's tax-exempt private foundation in California has granted over $139,000 since 2016 to the Alliance for Global Justice (AFGJ). The AFGJ, based in Arizona, has reportedly funneled money to Samidoun, an organization connected to Palestinian terrorism. In response to these allegations, Patagonia has announced that it has launched an internal review into the funding. The company has offices across the world.
