Israel Passes Law Allowing 20-Year Deportation of Attackers' Families

Israel's parliament, the Knesset, passed a law early Thursday allowing for the deportation of family members of Palestinian attackers, including Israeli citizens. Under this legislation, immediate relatives who knew in advance about an attack, failed to prevent it, or expressed support for it can be deported to the Gaza Strip or other locations. The expulsion can last up to 20 years.
