VisitCanada Beats Sweden 5-4, USA Wins 7-2; Set for U18 Hockey Final

In Espoo, Canada's under-18 hockey team secured a spot in the gold medal game at the U18 Men's World Championship after a 5-4 win over Sweden in the semifinals. Earlier, Canada defeated Latvia 4-0 in the quarterfinals. The semifinal against Sweden was dominated by Canada early on, leading 4-0 after the first period. In another semifinal match, the USA defeated Slovakia 7-2 to set up a gold medal clash with Canada. The semifinal games, held on Saturday, will see the losers, Sweden and Slovakia, competing for the bronze medal.
