Delhi Court Denies Bail to Umar Khalid in Second Application for 2020 Northeast Riots Case

Delhi's Karkardooma Court has denied regular bail to Umar Khalid in connection with the larger conspiracy case related to the 2020 Northeast Delhi riots. Khalid, a former JNU student, is accused under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). This was his second bail application in the matter. The court's decision on May 28.
