Chris Kaba, Accused of Nightclub Shooting, Revealed as Gang Member Before Police Killing
Oct 22, 2024, 09:52 AM
Following the lifting of reporting restrictions at the Old Bailey, it has been revealed that Chris Kaba was a core member of a notorious south London gang and was accused of involvement in two shootings less than a week before he was killed by a police marksman. Six days prior to his death, Kaba allegedly shot a gang rival in front of revellers at an east London nightclub in an alleged bid to murder the rival. He was also implicated in a shooting in West London. A court order had prevented the media from reporting these details until the conclusion of Martyn Blake's trial. Kaba's mother had applied to extend the reporting restrictions beyond the end of the trial but was unsuccessful.
