Dec 27, 2024, 08:20 PM
Blue Origin has received a launch license from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for its New Glenn rocket under Part 450, marking a significant step towards its inaugural launch. The license authorizes Blue Origin to conduct orbital missions from Launch Complex 36 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The company is currently preparing for a static fire test of the New Glenn's seven BE4 engines, a critical pre-launch procedure. The launch is scheduled for no earlier than January 6th.
