Shanghai's Lingang Area Promotes Pilot for 10 Tesla Full Self-Driving Vehicles

Shanghai's Lingang Free-Trade Area is promoting a pilot program involving 10 Tesla vehicles equipped with the company's most advanced Full Self-Driving (FSD) software. The initiative, backed by Chinese state media and local government sources such as The Shanghai Observer, aims to pave the way for the broader rollout of Tesla's autonomous driving technology in China. Lu Sen, director of the data department of the Shanghai Lingang New Area Administrative Committee, confirmed the project, which will take place in Nanhui New City. The announcement was made on Friday.
