Arizona Man Arrested for Threatening Trump's Life with AR-15-Style Rifle
Nov 27, 2024, 10:44 AM
Federal authorities have arrested Manuel Tamayo-Torres, an Arizona man, after he allegedly posted numerous videos on social media platforms, including Facebook, threatening to kill President-elect Donald Trump and his family. The threats included explicit statements like 'You’re going to die, your son is going to die, your whole family is going to die.' Tamayo-Torres was also seen brandishing an AR-15-style rifle in these videos. The arrest comes in the wake of an assassination attempt on Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, where he narrowly escaped with a graze wound to his ear, and three others were wounded, one fatally. The Secret Service snipers killed the assailant, identified as Crooks, shortly after the shots were fired.
