A family in West Jackson, Mississippi, was ambushed by armed carjackers who opened fire while trying to steal their Mazda. The incident, which was caught on a doorbell camera, occurred in the family's driveway on Friday evening with children and grandchildren inside the car. Heather Allen, a member of the family, described the terrifying moment when one of the assailants grabbed a child and attempted to take the vehicle. The family, who had lived in the neighborhood for three months, now plans to move out due to safety concerns. The Jackson police have released surveillance footage in hopes of identifying the suspects.
