Two 12-Year-Olds Convicted of Murdering Shawn Seesahai in Wolverhampton, DNA Leisure Halts Knife Sales
Jun 16, 2024, 07:26 AM
Two 12-year-old boys have been convicted of murdering 19-year-old Shawn Seesahai in Wolverhampton on June 14, raising alarm over the glamorization of knives as fashion statements. The Chair of West Midlands Police Federation, Rich Cooke, has called for a ban on advertising knives as 'Ninja, Rambo or Zombie' and tighter laws around online knife sales. In response to the incident, online retailer DNA Leisure has halted blade sales after being linked to three murders. The mother of a killed teen has also called for laws to ban online knife sales completely, and a former judge has suggested prosecuting companies involved in such sales.
