Five Tied to Lil Durk's OTF Charged in Murder-for-Hire Plot Killing Quando Rondo's Friend
Oct 25, 2024, 02:56 AM
Five individuals from Chicago have been federally charged in California, accused of a murder-for-hire plot to kill rapper Quando Rondo in Los Angeles in retaliation for the 2020 killing of rival artist King Von in Atlanta. The indictment alleges that the suspects have ties to "Only the Family" (OTF), a collective founded by rapper Lil Durk. According to federal authorities, an unnamed co-conspirator affiliated with OTF offered money and "lucrative music opportunities" to anyone who would kill Quando Rondo. Instead of killing Quando Rondo, the suspects allegedly killed his friend, Lul Pab, in a shooting in Los Angeles in August 2022. Quando Rondo was uninjured in the attack. Mugshots of three of the five suspects have been released. The federal charges include conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire and use of a machine gun.
