Alec Baldwin's Second Bid to Dismiss Manslaughter Charge in 'Rust' Shooting Denied by Judge on Friday
Jun 22, 2024, 12:16 AM
Alec Baldwin's efforts to dismiss the involuntary manslaughter charge against him in the 'Rust' shooting case have been denied again. A New Mexico judge upheld the charge on Friday, rejecting Baldwin's second bid to throw out the case. The judge also denied a request to use immunity to compel testimony from a movie set armorer. Baldwin is accused of fatally shooting a cinematographer during a rehearsal for the Western movie 'Rust'. Prosecutors have brought new evidence in the case as the trial looms.
