A recent report by the Republican-led House Committee on Education and the Workforce has revealed that Harvard University ignored recommendations from its Antisemitism Advisory Group. University leaders were aware of alleged violations of its Non-Discrimination and Anti-Bullying policies, but the DEI office reportedly did not enforce these policies. Five members of the advisory group had written to then-President Gay and Provost Garber on November 5th, threatening to resign if certain steps were not taken within 48 hours to address antisemitism on campus. The report, which some view as politically motivated, highlights troubling evidence directly from advisory group members. The House likely learned this through a subpoena.
