Condé Nast Averts Strike with First Labor Deal for Vogue, GQ Ahead of Met Gala
May 6, 2024, 06:10 PM
Condé Nast has reached its first tentative labor agreement with the union representing hundreds of its employees, including those at Vogue, GQ, and other publications, after more than a year of negotiations. The agreement, announced just hours before the Met Gala, averted a potential strike and picket line that could have disrupted the event. The union had previously threatened to stage a picket line if a contract was not agreed upon.
