Nurmagomedov, who is fluent in English, had taken a seat near the emergency exit but reportedly hesitated when asked to confirm his willingness to assist in case of an emergency. Flight crew stated they were 'not comfortable' with him operating the exit door and requested him to change seats. After he refused to comply, he remained calm but was escorted off the plane.
